Don’t spend Christmas Day moping around the hostel – head to Bondi Beach and have Christmas lunch with a few thousand mates!
At SUNBURNT CHRISTMAS on Christmas day 12 noon – 10pm, back packers will be partying with “The fastest rising stars of the dance scene” — THE POTBELLEEZ. And they’ll be joined by UK sensations MICKY SLIM and HELENA!
Spanning three stages, SUNBURNT CHRISTMAS boasts homegrown talent like GROOVE TERMINATOR, TIMMY TRUMPET and JOHN GLOVER and loads more – not to mention the Miss Bikini Christmas Competition and a Wet T-Shirt Comp!
TIPS TO MAKE YOUR CHRISTMAS MERRY AND BRIGHTER!:
DO:
- Hurry to buy your ticket – we often sell out in advance!
- Bring photo ID to prove you’re over 18 years of age. Otherwise we won’t let you in.
- Fill up on Christmas lunch to make sure you can party all day. Grab yourself a $69 ticket and that includes your lunch.
- Catch a bus – there will be buses traveling from major hostels in the city to bring you straight to the Sunburnt Christmas doors. They’ll take you home too! Details will be available soon.
- Aussie Christmas’s are hot and sunny! Bring a hat and wear plenty of sunscreen.
- Drink plenty of water during the day – you can’t bring open bottles into the venue but you’ll be able to refill for free throughout the day.
DON’T:
- Don’t bring your own drinks. No BYO
- Don’t bring professional standard cameras or recording equipment – all the action will be available for you on the web after the event.
- Don’t get too drunk – you’ll be refused service and sent home early.
TIMES:
- Sunburnt Christmas starts at midday and finishes at 10.00pm.
- Christmas lunch is served from midday – 3.00pm – you can pre-purchase your lunch – it’s included in the $69 ticket. Food is available for purchase all day.
- The $4.00 drinks – beer wine and basic spirits – are available from 1.00pm – 3.00pm.
